Dr. Rebecca Zhi was born and raised in New Jersey. She completed her undergraduate education at The College of New Jersey, where she received her bachelors degree in Biology with a minor in Fine Arts. Since she was young, Dr. Zhi has enjoyed making art and working with her hands. She also grew up with a strong interest in healthcare, she decided early on that dentistry was the perfect way for her to channel her passions for both science and art.
She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University where she held leadership roles in the American Student Dental Association and Student Government. She then completed her general practice residency training at the prestigious NYU Langone in Brooklyn (formerly Lutheran), where she received extensive training in all aspects of dentistry, including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, periodontal treatment, implant restorations, and Invisalign.
Dr. Zhi understands that coming to the dentist can be nerve-racking for some people, so she strives to help all her patients feel comfortable and at ease in the dental chair. Patients appreciate her patience, attention to detail, and gentle touch. Dr. Zhi also speaks Mandarin.
Outside the dental office, Dr. Zhi enjoys running in the park, visiting art museums, and traveling the world. She also loves trying new restaurants, baking desserts for her friends and family, and going to live music shows.
